Sam Rockwell Says He's Done Playing Racist Characters in Movies: 'I've Hit My Cap'

Sam Rockwell says he’s done portraying racist characters on screen!

The 50-year-old actor stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday (October 10).

Sam was there to promote his new movie Jojo Rabbit, in which a young boy in Hitler’s army finds out his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their home. Sam plays a Nazi in the film.

Host Seth Meyers brought up the fact that Sam has also played racist characters in his other projects, citing The Green Mile and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

“I’ve hit my cap on racists for sure,” Sam said. “Definitely.”

Sam Rockwell also talked taking a SoulCycle class with Usher and more.
