Kaia Gerber Says Being Compared To Mom Cindy Crawford Is The 'Biggest Compliment'

Kaia Gerber and her supermodel mom, Cindy Crawford up their matching game while out in New York City over the weekend.

The mother and daughter duo flew back out to Los Angeles for the start of the week, where Kaia, 18, was spotted stopping by Sephora for a quick beauty trip on Monday afternoon (October 14).

In a recent essay for Vogue, Kaia admitted that up until recently, she didn’t she looked anything like Cindy.

“From day one, people in the industry were often taken aback by my resemblance to my mom,” Kaia wrote. “As I get older, it happens even more, and it’s not just a visual thing: It’s everything from our mannerisms to our voices. It used to be that I didn’t see it at all, but now I will look at a picture and have to take a moment before realizing which one of us it is.”

Kaia now says being compared to her mom is “the biggest compliment”.

“Beyond her beauty and obvious appeal, she has always been my hero and my role model because of the way she treats people and the lens that she sees the world through, and that’s something for which I’m beyond grateful,” she added.
