Teresa & Joe Giudice Reveal If They're Going to Stay Together After His Release from ICE

Teresa and Joe Giudice are together again for the first time since he was released from ICE custody. At least via video chat.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy CohenTeresa in studio in New York City and Joe via video from Italy – for their first interview since he went to prison back in March 2016.

Several months ago Joe was released from prison and went into ICE’s custody as he awaits the decision in his deportation case. He was released from ICE and was sent to Italy as he waits for the court’s final decision.

During their interview, Joe admitted that he doesn’t think Teresa remained faithful while he was away after there were reports that she was “hooking up” with a younger man.

Teresa maintained that she and the mystery man were just friends before questioning Joe‘s fidelity telling him, “You were photographed with women also.”

“That’s why it made it okay for you?” responded Joe sarcastically.

Later in the interview, Andy asked Teresa if she would move to Italy if Joe was officially deported.

“The kids don’t want to go there,” Teresa insisted. “It’s like, they’ve been through enough.”

Joe supported Teresa, adding, “I would not want anyone to move here with me. Come on, that’s crazy. My kids are grounded there. I’m not going to pick them up and move them here. I can go someplace close, and we can go back and forth to the United States a few times. We can make things work.”

In the end, the status of Teresa and Joe‘s marriage still remains unknown.

“If we stay together, we stay together, if we don’t, we don’t,” Joe said. “It’s a conversation, we’ll see. … As long as she’s happy, that’s all that really matters. I’m not going to tell her what to do. If she doesn’t feel like she wants to be with me anymore, then that’s the thing to do.”

Joe and Teresa then said that there is still love between them.

“Of course, she’s my wife. I’ve been with her a long time. No matter what happens, I’ll always love her,” Joe said.

“I do love him as a person,” Teresa said. “I’ll start crying. I do care about him, I love him.”

Teresa then said that she would have no choice but to divorce Joe if he has to stay in Italy.

“I want to wake up with someone every single day,” Teresa said, explaining that her girls understood it. “I think they get it. I don’t think they want to see it happen, obviously, but I think they understand. Because the way I explained it to them, how are we going to live apart? I don’t think he would be faithful. I think he would have someone there and have me here. I just don’t want to live that life.”

But for right now, the Giudices are not making any decisions about their marriage.

“I’m waiting until I get there to see if I feel differently,” Teresa said of her and her daughters’ visit to Italy in a few weeks.. “I just feel like when you live apart. … He says the same thing, when he sees me, he may not want this either. We’ll know when we see each other.”

Teresa and Joe have been married for 20 years and are parents to daughters Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10.

The new season of Real Housewives of New Jersey premieres on Wednesday, November 6th at 8pm ET on Bravo.
