Gerard Butler to Star in Action Thriller 'The Plane'

Gerard Butler is set to star in the action thriller The Plane.

The 49-year-old actor is set to star as “commercial pilot Ray Torrance, who after a heroic job of successfully landing his storm-damaged aircraft in a war zone, finds himself caught between the agendas of multiple militia who are planning to take the plane and its passengers’ hostage,” Deadline reports.

The movie is set to film next year.
