Joey King Says Working & Kissing Ex Jacob Elordi Again For 'Kissing Booth 2' Was 'Worth It'

Joey King and Jacob Elordi split over a year ago and now the 20-year-old is opening up about what it was like working with him again on The Kissing Booth 2.

During her interview on Mood with Lauren Elizabeth, Joey was open about working with the Euphoria star again.

“I know what everyone wants to know, of course. And yeah, it was crazy,” she shared. “It was a wild experience, but honestly, it was a really beautiful time because I learned a lot about myself and I grew as an actor, I grew as a person.”

Joey says that kissing Jacob for the scenes in the upcoming sequel were “a real thing, and you know, it was fine. It was good.”

She continued that it while kissing your ex wasn’t the best thing in the world, it was worth it for the movie.

“I am very much, like, a frickin’ huge fan of The Kissing Booth,” Joey adds. “…I’m a fan of how it resonated with the world and it resonated with me. So going back, and doing that, and making the sacrifice, obviously, what everyone is thinking about. I’m not outwardly addressing, but what I’m kinda on the sly addressing, making those sacrifices was totally worth it.”

If you missed it, Netflix officially announced just recently that Jacob would return in his role for the second film.

The Kissing Booth 2 premieres in February on Netflix.
