Queen Latifah Will Star in 'Equalizer' Series Reboot at CBS
The Equalizer series is potentially getting a reboot – starring Queen Latifah!
CBS has given the new show a pilot production commitment, Variety reports.

The reimagined series would feature Queen Latifah playing “an enigmatic figure who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn.”
The original CBS show starred Edward Woodward and ran for four seasons from 1985 to 1989. It was also turned into two films (in 2014 and 2018), starring Denzel Washington.
Queen Latifah will also serve as an executive producer.
