Lupita Nyong'o on Returning for an 'Us' Sequel: 'Never Say Never'!

Lupita Nyong’o keeps it bright as she strikes a pose at her special screening of her hit film Us presented by Universal Pictures on Wednesday evening (November 6) in New York City.

The 36-year-old Oscar-winning actress was joined at the event by the film’s writer-director Jordan Peele and moderator Wesley Morris.

Lupita recently opened up about not being entirely against starring in a sequel to the Jordan Peele horror smash.

“Well, never say never, because the minute you say ‘no,’ that’s exactly what’s going to happen,” she said (via IndieWire). “So maybe I’ll say, absolutely, yeah, just so that karma doesn’t come to bite me in the butt.”

“It cost me a lot, but it also offered me a lot, and I grew so much,” Lupita continued. “Ultimately, I really do love the work we created together, and how imaginative it is. Obviously, I’m in love with Jordan’s mind and the work that comes out of it. And in this case, that includes the role that he bestowed on me.”
