Rihanna Says This Year Has Been 'Overwhelming,' Appears to Announce a Break

Rihanna updated fans that she had an extremely busy, and overwhelming, year and she appeared to announce that she’s taking a bit of a break.

The 31-year-old entertainer posted a selfie on Instagram and captioned the photo, “to all my friends/family/coworkers who I have yet to get back to in the past months…please forgive me. this year has been quite an overwhelming one, and I’m working on that ish called Balance.”

Rihanna concluded her message by writing “brb,” which is leading some to believe that she’s taking a break.

It has been said that Rihanna‘s latest album, R9, which has not been announced, would be released in 2019. There has been no official word.
