Pink Announces Hiatus From the Music Industry in 2020

Pink is taking a break.

The 40-year-old “Hurts 2B Human” singer revealed that she plans to take a hiatus from musical activities while on the red carpet at the 2019 CMA Awards on Wednesday night (November 13) in Nashville, Tenn.

“We did two and a half years of [music], and Willow’s back in school now. Jameson’s going to start pre-school soon. It’s kind of the year of the family. It’s time to do something else for a minute. And Carey has a lot going on as well. He’s super supportive, he follows me around the world and now it’s his turn,” she revealed to Entertainment Tonight.

The singer released her studio album, Hurts 2B Human, in April of this year, which featured singles “Walk Me Home,” “Can We Pretend” and “Love Me Anyway,” as well as the title track.
