“I did, yeah. They cried,” Evan said of receiving a standing ovation at her audition. “Before I went in to do the audition I said, ‘I’m gonna do the audition for a Disney movie now,’ and [my son] says, ‘I hope they clap for you, mommy.’ And when I was done, they got up and they clapped, and I came home and I went, ‘Guess what? They clapped! It worked!’”

“I’ve been singing Disney lullabies to my son since he was born and now I get to sing my own Disney lullaby to him,” Evan added about her son Jack. “It is absolutely surreal — I’m a really cool mom right now.”

The evening before, Evan Rachel Wood stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and talked about her and James Marsden‘s efforts to turn Westworld into a comedy, and the domestic abuse law she helped write and pass in California.
