Country Singer Sam Hunt Arrested for DUI

Sam Hunt was arrested for driving while intoxicated after reportedly driving the wrong way down a road in Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday (November 21).

A police report says that the 34-year-old “Body Like A Back Road” singer “smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot, watery eyes.” He also reportedly had two beers next to him. He was officially arrested and charged with driving under the influence and having an open container.

He admitted to police that he had been “recently” drinking, and instead of handing over his license and registration, he handed over a credit card and his passport, according to a news source.

Last year, Sam was enjoying a lot of success in his music career.
