The event – Tusk Conservation Awards gala – is set to take place on Thursday (November 21), and she cancelled her appearance “due to the children,” People reports.

Earlier in the day, the Duchess attended a tea party with her husband Prince William for the awards show winners.

The Duke and Duchess are parents to Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 4, and 1-year-old Prince Louis.
