Alec & Hilaria Baldwin Get Real About Coping After Miscarriage

Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin are getting candid with fans about how they are really doing following their miscarriage.

The 61-year-old Saturday Night Live star and the 35-year-old writer opened up to Extra at the 2019 American Museum of Natural History Gala on Thursday (November 21), their first public appearance together since revealing the miscarriage news.

“We’re going to have another one, just not now,” Alec told the outlet. “It’s a question of time… It was a surprise.”

“Physically, I am feeling a lot better,” Hilaria said. “Emotionally, I’m feeling a lot better. Sharing can be hard, but once you share, it feels a little more real and then once it’s more real, you can heal… It also made me feel not alone.”

“If we were closer… I would be sewn to her,” Alec shared about the event bringing them closer. Hilaria added, “I feel like we started dating again.” Alec Baldwin said, “It’s been hard.”

Hilaria also recently chatted with Dawson’s Creek star James Van Der Beek’s wife Kimberly Brook, who also recently suffered a miscarriage.

“We connected, and I guess we truly know what’s going on for each other,” Hilaria Baldwin shared. “It’s been tough. She’s very strong and my heart is with what’s going on with them.”
