Broadway's 'Tina' Star Adrienne Warren Was More Nervous to Meet Oprah Than the Royals

Adrienne Warren sits down for an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night (November 26) in New York City.

The 32-year-old Broadway star opened up about playing the legendary singer Tina Turner in the new musical Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, which is now open.

Adrienne also starred in the London production last year and talked about meeting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they saw the show. “They were really nice… They’re incredible,” she said.

At the show’s opening night on Broadway, Adrienne got to meet “American royalty,” Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King.

Adrienne said she was more nervous to meet “Oprah, of course. Come on, she’s my queen. She’s the biggest Tina Turner fan in the world so I was actually more nervous to do in front of her because I knew how much a fan she is. I don’t think Harry knows Tina.”
