The new movie The Irishman is now streaming on Netflix and you might notice something interesting about Robert De Niro‘s physical appearance throughout the film.

In addition to using technology to make the actors look younger for flashback scenes during the movie, De Niro was also made to look taller!

So, how tall is Robert De Niro in real life? He’s actually 5’10″ and his co-star Al Pacino stands three inches shorter.

De Niro wore platform shoes while filming to make him look even taller while playing Frank Sheeran, who was 6’4″.
