Chris Wood Shows Support for Wife Melissa Benoist After She Comes Forward as Domestic Violence Survivor

Chris Wood is making sure his wife Melissa Benoist feels loved after a brave admission.

The 31-year-old Supergirl star showed his support for his 31-year-old co-star and wife in a message for Thanksgiving (November 28).

“Happy Thanksgiving! I’m going to kiss my wife and hold her tenderly. All day. And every day. How do YOU show love? #IStandWithMelissa,” he tweeted, using the hashtag many fans and stars trended to voice their support.

If you didn’t know, Melissa revealed in an emotional video on Wednesday (November 27) that she is a survivor of domestic violence, and detailed the abuse she experienced in a past relationship.
