James Corden Reveals How Many Times Kanye West Cancelled Carpool Karaoke Before Finally Doing It

James Corden booked Kanye West to do a Carpool Karaoke segment (which was actually Airplane Karaoke) on The Late Late Show, but things didn’t go according to plan at first!

“Complex fellow,” James said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday (December 2). “This was actually the third time that we had tried to do a sort of Carpool Karaoke with Kanye. The first time he agreed and then he canceled a few days later, and you’re like, ‘Well, that’s a shame, but it’s fine.’ The second time that Kanye canceled Carpool Karaoke was so late in the day that I was driving up his road in the car, with all the cameras, and got this phone call saying it’s been canceled.

“I think I basically turned around outside his house and drove back to the studio,” James added.

If you don’t know, back in 2013, Kanye and Jimmy Kimmel were actually in a feud.
