Greta Gerwig Poses With Her Six-Month-Old Son Harold for 'Vogue' & Talks Motherhood
Greta Gerwig and her baby son Harold are on the cover of Vogue‘s January 2020 issue, out everywhere on December 17.
Here’s what the 36-year-old Little Women director had to say…
On retreating to a cabin to revise Little Women in 2018: “I needed to spend some alone time with Louisa [May Alcott], because so much of making art requires some amount of mysticism.”
On whether there’s any similarity to bringing a film and a child into the world:“I don’t know. Maybe ask me in 18 years…yes, I think that feeling of forever being underqualified and kind of awed by the thing.”
On her reservations about becoming a mother: “I was always scared about being a mother, in terms of what it would mean for what I was able to do.”
