Peloton Commercial Husband Speaks Out Following Criticism: 'That's Not Who I Am'

Another actor from the highly criticized Pelton commercial is speaking out.

Sean Hunter, who portrays the husband in the advertisement, says people have turned the commercial into a “nasty thing.”

In the ad, a woman receives a Peloton exercise bike from her husband for Christmas and many believe it portrayed a man who wanted his wife to be thin.

“People turned down a pretty dark path and it turned into a nasty thing…Once something goes viral, and it turns viral, people jump on that negative bandwagon and start to create any dialogue they want,” Sean told Good Morning America.

The actor and teacher added, “My image is being associated with sexism, with the patriarchy, with abuse, with these words that I am seeing people write about me — that’s not who I am.”
