Fans Think Billie Eilish Called Out Jimmy Kimmel in a Public Speech

Fans believe that Billie Eilish called out Jimmy Kimmel for making her “look stupid” on television.

While on stage at Variety‘s Hitmakers Event, for which she received an award, Billie told the crowd, “Thank you so much, Variety — thank you for not making me look stupid like everybody else wants to do on TV — love that.”

Billie‘s interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! went viral when she was tested on her knowledge of the 1980s. Billie is only 17 years old, and admitted she didn’t know who Van Halen was during her appearance on the show. This caused some backlash.

Fans at the event have deduced that she must have been referencing Jimmy in her speech.

If you don’t know, Billie recently had to address another controversy – this time involving Lady Gaga.
