Colin Firth & Wife Livia Split After 22 Years of Marriage

Colin Firth and his wife Livia have split.

The 59-year-old Bridget Jones’s Diary star and his wife revealed the news on Friday (December 13) in a statement to People.

“Colin and Livia Firth have separated. They maintain a close friendship and remain united in their love for their children. They kindly ask for privacy. There will be no further comment,” they said.

The announcement comes two years after the couple revealed that she had a relationship with another man while they were briefly separated, who she then accused of stalking.

Colin and Livia were most recently seen together during Milan Fashion Week back in September.

They have two sons together: Luca, 18, and Matteo, 16.
