Helen Hunt Reacts to Golden Globes Snub of Female Directors!
Helen Hunt is reacting to the lack of female directors included in Golden Globes nominations.
While making an appearance on the Today show on Monday morning (December 15) in New York City, the 56-year-old actress, who is a director herself, shared her opinion on the discussion.
“This nomination thing just means we’re not in the middle of that fight or the end of that fight, we’re at the beginning,” Helen expressed. “We’re making some progress — but just hire, if you’re in a position to hire, hire people who have been less supported in the past.”
Helen was joined by her co-star Paul Reiser to talk about the revival of their 1990s, sitcom Mad About You. Helen says they got “artistically greedy” and decided to reboot the show.
“Our motto was ‘please, don’t let this suck’,” Paul added.
That same day, Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser sat down for an interview with SiriusXM’s Town Hall host Jenny Hutt to promote Mad About You.
