The Biggest Star in 'Cats' Actually Has the Smallest Role

Taylor Swift is without a doubt the biggest star in the new movie musical Cats, but she actually has the smallest role of the lead actors.

The 30-year-old entertainer plays the role of Bombalurina in the film, based on the Broadway musical of the same name.

While Bombalurina appears in four songs in the Broadway musical’s first act, she doesn’t make an appearance in the movie until the end. Taylor has a grand entrance before her song “Macavity: The Mystery Cat” and she’s only on screen for about seven minutes.

While Bombalurina has a hatred for Macavity in the Broadway musical, the film has a different take on her relationship with the villainous cat, who is played by Idris Elba.

Cats hits theaters everywhere on December 20!
