Robert Pattinson Admits He Doesn't Think He Knows How to Act

Robert Pattinson is getting candid about his acting career.

The 33-year-old actor, who has been acting for over 15 years, says he still doesn’t think he knows how to act.

“I only know how to play scenes, like, three ways…I’m nervous on, like, every single movie,” Robert told The Guardian.

He added that to cope with his nerves, he goes to extreme lengths to prepare for roles. In his upcoming film The Lighthouse, Robert spent time on the floor growling and making himself throw up right before filming.

“Because I don’t really know how to act, I kind of wanted to somehow make it real, and one of the ways I’ve always thought makes that a little bit easier is if you shake up your physical state just before action. You end up walking into a scene having a different feeling,” Robert explained.

He continued, “I like doing whatever I can to not know what’s going on. To be completely overwhelmed and disorientated. To feel like it’s actually happening.”
