Billy Porter Praises His 'Like A Boss' Co-Stars: 'These Ladies are Salt of the Earth'

Billy Porter turns heads on the street in an electric green coat while leaving an appearance in New York City earlier in the week.

The 50-year-old actor paired his striking look with platform boots as he left for another appearance in the city. Later on, Billy was rocking red boots for a promo stop.

Billy has been promoting his brand new movie, Like A Boss, all week with co-stars Tiffany Haddish, Rose Byrne and Salma Hayek.

In an interview with ABC Audio, Billy praised his co-stars in the film.

“It was everything that you would want it to be and more,” he shared. “These ladies are salt of the earth. The kind of energy that exists on a set comes from the top down.”

Billy adds that “Tiffany and Rose and Salma they’re so maternal…Tiffany would have Sunday night potluck dinners at her house every Sunday. It’s like that’s how you fellowship. That’s how you bond. And that’s how you can sort of create the energy that we were able to create onscreen, being friends.”

Like A Boss is out in theaters NOW.
