Sam Heughan & Caitriona Balfe Promote 'Outlander,' Tease What Is To Come in Season 5!

The stars of Outlander – Caitríona Balfe and Sam Heughan speak on stage during the Outlander panel of the 2020 Winter TCA Tour at The Langham Huntington on Tuesday (January 14) in Pasadena, Calif.

They were joined by their co-stars Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin, as well as executive producer Maril Davis.

While on stage, Maril revealed that they will keep making more Outlander episodes as long as there is interest and joked Jamie and Claire could go “until they’re 100.”

“We’ll keep going as long as there’s interest,” she added.

As for what is to come this season, Sam said, “Jamie’s in a really, really tough position. He’s trying to provide for everyone. Through that, he agrees to work for the British and he has to lead a militia.”

Caitriona said that meanwhile, Claire is “reconciling what her role is as a healer and what are the repercussions of messing with time and history.”
