Florence Pugh On Her Oscar Nomination 2020 Reaction Photo: 'I Actually Tried Bananas First'

Florence Pugh made her debut appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (January 16) and dished about the picture she posted in reaction to her 2020 Oscar nomination!

The 24-year-old actress earned her very first Oscar nomination in the Supporting Actress category for her work as Amy in Little Women.

Florence posted a photo of her in bed, waking up to a phone call where she found out the news. The second photo is a pic of her, with her breasts exposed, covered just with avocados emojis.

“My phone rang at 5:30 – the best wake up ever!,” Florence expressed. “I actually tried bananas first but it looked like I was wearing a bikini so I was like no, scrapping that.”

“I called my mom and she was on the way home to find out if anything had happened. She basically just made noises and screamed,” Florence added about telling her mom first.

Florence also talked about who she’s planning to bring to the Oscars, acting with Meryl Streep, and growing up in Oxford.
