Prince William Makes Rare Statement About His Proposal to Kate Middleton
Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton have only really spoken much about their proposal when it first happened back in 2010, but the Prince referenced it in a new speech he gave this week!
During a special reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the UK-Africa Investment Summit, the Prince mentioned Kenya, which is where he proposed.
“The African continent holds a very special place in my heart. It is the place my father took my brother and me shortly after our mother died,” Prince William said. “And when deciding where best to propose to Catherine, I could think of no more fitting place than Kenya to get down on one knee.” Cute!
