Fans & Celebs Call For NBA To Change Their Logo In Tribute To Kobe Bryant

Fans and friends of Kobe Bryant have started an online petition to the NBA to change their longtime logo to honor the basketball star, who perished in a helicopter crash this weekend.

Usher, Justin Bieber, Snopp Dogg, Vanessa Hudgens, Naomi Campbell and many others are supporting the petition which was first started by a fan named Nick M.

The petition features a logo mockup by graphic artist Tyson Beck, calling for the change of the logo and has just passed 1 million signatures.

The current logo features Jerry West in a silhouette and its’ been that way since 1969.

“Couldn’t be a better time or all around athlete and person for it,” Usher wrote on Instagram, adding, “#changethelogo”
