Laura Dern Signs Sandy Powell's Suit at Academy Awards Reception in London

Laura Dern looks lovely in a green ensemble for the 2020 Academy Awards Champagne Tea reception held at The Biltmore on Friday night (January 31) in London, England.

The 53-year-old actress, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the upcoming ceremony, was joined by fellow nominees Joaquin Phoenix, director Todd Phillips, Jonathan Pryce and costume designer Sandy Powell.

During the event, Laura signed Sandy‘s suit for her Suit Signing Project.

“Featuring luminaries from the film industry to raise money for The Art Fund initiative to save Derek Jarman’s Prospect cottage in Dungeness,” Sandy explained of the project on Instagram. “Once covered in autographs the suit will be up for auction.”

Laura is also nominated for Best Supporting Actress at this weekends’ 2020 BAFTAs.
