Laura Dern Thanks Her Parents - Her 'Acting Heroes' - in Touching Oscars 2020 Acceptance Speech!

Laura Dern wins the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2020 Academy Awards on Sunday (February 9) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The star actress walked the red carpet with her two children and her mom earlier in the evening.

“I would like to say a special thank you to the gifts of the love stories in my life,” Laura said before thanking her kids in her acceptance speech.

“I share this with my acting heroes…my legends Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern,” Laura said, before adding, “this is the best birthday present ever!” Laura‘s parents are both acting legends having appeared in so many films and TV programs over the years.

It’s Laura‘s birthday today, and this must be truly the best birthday present ever!
