Miranda Lambert's Husband Brendan McLoughlin Has Retired From The NYPD

Brendan McLoughlin is leaving the force.

Miranda Lambert‘s police officer husband has decided to turn in his badge after he took a leave of absence from the force, People is reporting.

“His current duty status is retired,” an NYPD DCPI spokesperson shared in a statement about Brendan‘s duty.

Since taking a leave of absence from the NYPD, Brendan joined Miranda on her Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars tour.

He’s also been spotted helping security during her Wildcard tour meet and greets.

Miranda has opened up recently about just how she first met Brendan.
