Netflix Reveals Just Who Paid For The 'Love Is Blind' Weddings

Love Is Blind is still the top show on Netflix, and it’s not hard to see why.

The social experiment series, which saw contestants meeting and falling in love sight unseen, ended its’ three week run with an epic season finale, where many of the couples did get married.

After some confusion about who paid for the weddings online, a rep for the show revealed that Netflix paid for a portion of the Love Is Blind weddings, and the couples paid for the rest.

In a statement to Women’s Health, they shared that “of course production supplies some of the basics, but because these are their real weddings, it’s up to them as to how to spend their money.”

After one viewer commented on seeing the guys shop and pay for their own suits at an expensive store, more theories popped up.

Amber Pike, who married Matt Barnett, discussed some financial difficulties while planning their nuptials.

“The weddings were 100% paid for by the show…” she responded to a fan.

This comment confused viewers though, because she was shocked to find out that her dress alterations were going to cost $850.

It looks like Amber and Barnett were just trying to stay under budget.
