Demi Lovato is opening up alongside Justin Bieber.

The “I Love Me” singer guest-hosted The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday (March 6).

During Demi‘s guest-hosting appearance, she spoke to Justin about their shared industry struggles.

“This is what you and I are both meant to do. You’re meant to entertain and sing, and I think same as me. So I think when we run away from that, we feel less happy,” Justin said.

“There’s a fear in showing vulnerability,” he added of his recent documentary.

“When I struggled last year, I looked at you as an inspiration because you’ve been through this and come out the other side. I really admire the man that you are,” Demi said.
