Katy Perry's Mom Mary Hudson 'Ruined' Her Pregnancy Reveal To Family

Katy Perry revealed she was expecting her first child with fiance Orlando Bloom through her “Never Worn White” music video to fans earlier this week, but it turns out the reveal to her family was ruined by her mom, Mary Hudson.

During her interview with SiriusXM, the 35-year-old singer shared that to announce they were expecting, she and Orlando “put the news on a wine label and I was doing it by either bringing a bottle of wine with a bespoke label that said it.”

The plan was that “I would bring it to a dinner or something or I’d give it as a gift to a friend, like here’s a nice bottle of wine, but then they’d get the reaction later.”

But it didn’t get that far, instead, her mom found out by snooping.

“My mom, it was so weird, I didn’t get the chance to do it,” Katy shared. “She just came over and was looking at my wine—and she never does—and she was like, ‘What is this?’ And that’s how it happened.”

Katy also revealed what kind of pregnancy cravings she’s having right now.
