Amanda Bynes Ordered Into Psychiatric Facility for Mental Health Treatment

Amanda Bynes has been ordered to enter a psychiatric facility for a mental health treatment.

A judge in her conservatorship case met with the 33-year-old actress, her family and then-fiance Paul Michael last week and made the decision, The Blast reports.

According to reports, a secret hearing was held on Thursday (March 5) where the judge met with everyone and discussed Amanda and Paul‘s engagement and her current mental state.

After hearing the details, the judge ordered Amanda to be placed into a psychiatric facility. Since she agreed to enter the facility, she was not taken straight there straight from the courthouse.

However, when Amanda was supposed to check herself into the live-in facility over the weekend, she never showed up and is now reportedly refusing to cooperate.

It is unclear what the next steps will be to get Amanda into the facility.

Just three weeks ago Amanda and Paul announced they were engaged, but abruptly decided to split.

It is now being reported that Paul “freaked out” after meeting with the judge and hearing all of the details of Amanda‘s situation. He reportedly ended things with Amanda because he didn’t want to get himself into any trouble and doesn’t want this to affect his sobriety.
