Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau & Wife Sophie Quarantining After She Shows Coronavirus Symptoms

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau have decided to quarantine after she started exhibiting symptoms related to Coronavirus on Wednesday night (March 11), the BBC reports.

There are currently 103 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Canada.

Sophie began showing mild symptoms while the Prime Minister is not exhibiting symptoms. The Prime Minister has decided to quarantine “out of an abundance of caution” and will be working from home.

“The prime minister will spend the day in briefings, phone calls and virtual meetings from home including speaking with other world leaders and joining the special Covid-19 cabinet committee discussion,” his office said.
