Orlando Bloom Heads Back to US to Be 'Quarantined' as 'Carnival Row' Filming Put on Hold

Orlando Bloom is heading back to the United States from Prague.

The 43-year-old actor has been in the country filming season two of Carnival Row, but production is being postponed due to coronavirus concerns.

“It’s farewell from us as we go home to be quarantined,” he said in his Instagram Stories on Wednesday (March 11). “We’re coming home to the States, at least I’m coming home to the States, because we want to get in before the quarantine.”

“Big love everybody, stay safe out there!” he continued. “Self-quarantine. It seems really crazy actually this whole corona thing, but do the right thing by you and your family and stay safe.”

“In a few weeks, we’ll beat this bad boy,” he added with a wink.

Donald Trump has announced a 30-day travel ban on anyone traveling from Europe to the U.S. (except from the U.K.), but this does not apply to U.S. citizens or their immediate family members.

Orlando Bloom and his pregnant fiancee Katy Perry‘s wedding in Japan has also been postponed because of coronavirus.
