7-Eleven Aims To Hire 20,000 More Employees Amid Pandemic
7-Eleven is hiring a massive amount of people during the coronavirus pandemic to keep up with demand.
The convenience store chain revealed in a press release that they expect to hire about 20,000 new store employees.
“7-Eleven is a neighborhood store and it’s our priority to serve the communities in which we operate during this unprecedented crisis,” President and CEO Joe DePinto said in a statement via People.
He added that the new employees can be hired within the next couple months and will additionally help to “ensure 7-Eleven stores remain clean and in-stock with the goods our customers need during this critical time.”
