'Wonder Woman 1984' Will Definitely Get a Theatrical Release, Studio Shoots Down Streaming Idea

Don’t get your hopes up about getting to watch Wonder Woman 1984 from the comfort of your own home in the near future… the movie will definitely go to theaters first.

Warner Bros. confirmed to IndieWire that the movie will be getting a “full theatrical run.”

Wonder Woman 1984, the superhero sequel starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, currently is scheduled to be released on June 5, though that date is up in the air now due to the coronavirus outbreak.

While nearly every current movie is being pushed to VOD right now and Universal plans to put Trolls World Tour on VOD instead of getting a theatrical release, Wonder Woman 1984 will most likely be delayed.
