'Top Chef Masters' Winner Floyd Cardoz Dies of Coronavirus at 59 (Report)

Chef Floyd Cardoz has reportedly passed away after contracting COVID-19, aka the Coronavirus.

The Top Chef Masters winner was only 59 years old, and People confirmed that he passed away after battling the illness since at least last Wednesday.

Last week, he was admitted to a New York City hospital as a “precautionary measure.”

“Sincere apologies everyone. I am sorry for causing undue panic around my earlier post. I was feeling feverish and hence as a precautionary measure, admitted myself into hospital in New York,” he wrote, saying he “was hugely anxious about my state of health.”
