'Grey's Anatomy' Fans React to That Richard Webber Twist (Spoilers Ahead!)

SPOILER ALERT – This post contains spoilers from the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy, so beware of reading any further!

Fans are not happy about what happened to James Pickens Jr.‘s character Richard Webber on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

Richard was supposed to give a presentation in front of top medical experts and while he was prepping for the presentation, he received a visit from Catherine (Debbie Allen). But… Catherine wasn’t really there. In a big twist for the episode, we found out that Richard was actually hallucinating and she was really watching the live stream from Grey Sloan.

When Richard got up on stage to present, he basically spoke in gibberish and it was clear that something was wrong with him medically. Maggie (Kelly McCreary) was able to stop the presentation and she suggested that he possibly had a stroke, but Richard came to while being rolled away on a gurney.

This new event coupled with Richard’s hand tremor in recent episodes has fans thinking that the character’s time on the show might be limited. Read how fans are reacting below!
