Nick Cordero Had to Be Resuscitated As Condition Worsens in ICU

Nick Cordero‘s wife Amanda Kloots is providing on his condition as he battles for his life in the hospital.

Amanda took to her Instagram Story on Saturday night (April 11) to reveal that the 41-year-old Broadway actor’s condition have taken a turn for the worse.

Amanda revealed that last night she got a call that Nick had a new infection in his lung that caused his temperature to spike which caused his blood pressure to drop, leading his heart to have irregular beats.

Nick then lost consciousness and his pulse, leading doctors to have to resuscitate him, and they had a very hard time getting him back. Nick was then put on an ECMO machine to help support his lungs and heart.

Amanda then got a call from the doctor to get permission to put him on Dialysis to help with his kidneys. So now Nick is on a ventilator, Dialysis, and the ECMO machine.

She then got a call saying Nick was moving in a positive direction, but moments later Amanda got another call saying that one of the cannulas on the ECMO machine was stopping blood flow to his right leg and Nick was rushed into surgery to save the blood flow to his leg.

As of right now, Nick is now out of surgery and alive, but in very critical condition. Amanda then broke down in tears saying that Nick is “suffering” and living minute by minute.

Amanda then pleaded for everyone to continue praying for Nick and that she will she share updates when she learns more.

If you haven’t seen, Nick was admitted to the ICU after coming down with coronavirus like symptoms. However, after taking two tests, Nick‘s results were both negative.

Nick and Amanda have an almost one-year-old son, Elvis.
