Robert Pattinson's 'The Batman' Release Date Changed, 'The Flash' & 'Shazam 2' Also Moved
The Batman‘s release date has been changed.
Originally, the Robert Pattinson-led film was intended to be released on June 25, 2021. Now, Warner Bros. has announced that the film will be instead released four months later on October 1, 2021.
In addition, some other superhero films are being altered.
The Flash has been moved from August 1, 2022 to June 2, 2022 and Shazam 2 has been changed from April 1, 2022 until November 4, 2022.
In addition, the Sopranos prequel film, The Many Saints of Newark, will be released in March of 2021.
These delays are coming as there is speculation that COVID-19 could keep movie theaters for an extended period of time.
