NY Governor Andrew Cuomo Jokes With Brother Chris After Offering Support For Nephew Mario's Coronavirus Diagnosis

Andrew Cuomo has offered words of support for his brother, Chris, after hearing that his son, Mario, has tested positive for coronavirus.

In their interview that took place on April 22, the New York Governor assured his CNN Anchor brother that “he’s going to be OK”, referring to Mario.

Chris shared an update on Mario‘s condition, saying, “It was me and Cristina, and now Mario has the same symptoms she had, and he’s got the coronavirus. It’s working it’s way through, but they’re doing fine.”

He then thanked Andrew for his support, “Thank you for your concern, Andrew. Thanks for caring about my family, and about me, and thank you for fighting for the people of your state.”

“I don’t remember you that way [as a feely guy],” Chris added. “Maybe it’s the coronavirus, but I don’t remember you this way. So what happened?”

Andrew replied that it was Chris‘ memory: “It’s your memory. I think the coronavirus has perverted your memory. Not only did you come out frail, but your memory has suffered.”

He joked that Chris‘ memory might come back after “Cristina lets you out of the basement.”

If you missed it, Chris and Andrew lit up social media with their sibling rivalry and jokes earlier this month.
