Barbra Streisand Dedicates New Video Set To 'You'll Never Walk Alone' To Essential Workers

Barbra Streisand has released a brand new music video, dedicated to essential workers amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The 78-year-old songstress sings “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from the 1945 musical Carousel, in the video posted to her Instagram.

The visual is a montage of health care professionals, grocery store clerks and delivery personnel who continue to work amid the pandemic.

“I sang this song almost 20 years ago after 9/11. Today we face another crisis, but I think the words still apply,” Barbra wrote at the start of the clip.

There is a call to action at the end of the video, where Barbra encourages people to donate to Direct Relief, a nonprofit for COVID-19 health workers.

“Direct Relief supplies protective gear to all our heroes in the United States … Please donate if you can,” she added.
