Leighton Meester Says She Forgets She's Married to Adam Brody When They Film 'Single Parents' Together!

Leighton Meester is talking working with husband Adam Brody on Single Parents!

During a new interview, the 34-year-old actress said that she’s happy that she gets to spend time with her “baby daddy” on- and off-screen.

“He is the baby daddy. In real life and not real life,” Leighton shared with Entertainment Tonight. “Sometimes I’ll be like, ‘Oh yeah, I forgot I’m married to you.’ But it’s been really nice having him here. He’s very much a part of the family.”

On Leighton‘s show Single Parent, Adam plays recurring guest star Derek, who is the ex and baby daddy for Leighton‘s character Angie.

In real life, Leighton and Adam married in 2014 and are parents to four-year-old daughter Arlo. The couple is also expecting their second child.

Leighton went on to say that Adam is nothing like the character he plays on the show.

“On the show, he’s such a little dummy and it’s very cute and he’s very handsome,” Leighton explained. “And in real life that’s 98 percent not true. He’s mostly, totally, like a grown-up.”
