Julie Andrews To Executive Produce A Remake Of Her Movie '10'

Julie Andrews is bringing her movie, 10, back to life.

Deadline reports that the -year-old actress and author will be producing a remake of 10, which she starred in alongside Dudley Moore and Bo Derek in the late 1970s.

The flick followed a Hollywood composer going through a mid-life crisis who becomes infatuated with a newly married woman and was directed by Julie‘s late husband, Blake Edwards.

The new version would take a comedic look at the question of what defines a “perfect 10” in today’s world.

Karen McCullah and Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith will write the script, with Sue Kroll, Jeff Nathanson, and Ashok Amritraj also producing.

10 holds a special place in my heart. It captures Blake’s charisma and his special humor that I so adore,” Julie shared in a statement. “I have long been rather protective about which of Blake’s brilliant works should be re-imagined. I am pleased that today’s film goers will have an opportunity to enjoy a new interpretation of this classic.”
