Donald Trump's Tweets About Mail-In Ballots Get Warning Labels on Twitter

Some of President Donald Trump‘s tweets on the platform are getting warning labels by Twitter.

Variety first reported that the platform has added a few labels to a tweet written by the leader, pointing out that you should always do research of your own and that he was inaccurate in what he said.

The tweet in question was Trump calling out mail-in ballots for upcoming elections rather then the more dramatic and baseless conspiracy theory of Lori Klausutis‘s death.

“There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent. Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out & fraudulently signed,” Trump stated.

He continued, “The Governor of California is sending Ballots to millions of people, anyone living in the state, no matter who they are or how they got there, will get one. That will be followed up with professionals telling all of these people, many of whom have never even thought of voting before, how, and for whom, to vote. This will be a Rigged Election. No way!”

The label warning is right under the tweet with an exclamation point, saying “Get the facts about mail-in ballots” and leads to you to an educational page about them.

Recently, Trump came under more fire for sharing a deepfake video from the movie, Independence Day. See what one of the stars had to say about it…
