Ruby Rose Speaks Out About Her 'Batwoman' Exit: 'Those Who Know, Know'

Ruby Rose is finally opening up about her decision to leave The CW’s Batwoman as the title character.

The news rocked fans and the internet last week when the network released a statement about Ruby‘s exit.

“This was not a decision I made lightly as I have the utmost respect for the cast, crew and everyone involved with the show in both Vancouver and in Los Angeles,” the initial statement read.

In a new Instagram, Ruby opened up about her leaving again.

“Thank you everyone for coming on this journey. If I mentioned everyone it would be 1000 tags.. but Thank you to the cast, crew, producers and studio,” Ruby captioned her post, that included a highlight video. “It wasn’t an easy decision but those who know, know..”

She added, “I didn’t want to not acknowledge everyone involved and how big this was for TV and for our community. I have stayed silent because that’s my choice for now but know I adore you all. I’m sure next season will be amazing also. Xxx *hangs up cowl and cape.”

Reports have suggested that Ruby left because of the physical demands and that she possibly wasn’t the easiest to work with.

Batwoman will return for season two on The CW.
